Coral fluorescence image of Great Wall West. Pure blue light illuminates the reef. In response, the living corals emit a green light. Chlorophyll on algae covering the reef substrate glows red and orange. At the camera lens, blue light is filtered out so the camera records only the fluorescent colors.
